Hey there! My name is Aaron Grier, and I'm based out of Wallingford, Connecticut. Born and raised on the East Coast in a loving Jamaican-immigrant household, I'm currently a part-time photographer and YouTuber (full-time coming soon—fingers crossed!) with a deep passion for just about anything on four wheels—especially JDM cars!

At 21, fresh out of college with a bachelor's degree in Multimedia Communications, I started working in faux-corporate America (think designer tech retail—you can do the math). I thrive on passion, and I quickly realized that environment wasn’t fueling mine. With my personality type, you can only sling consumer tech under leadership that doesn't see your true value for so long before your real passions break through. That realization sparked the idea for RVM.

I often reflect and ask myself, "What inspired me to go down this path?" or "How did I end up here?" One vivid memory stands out: sitting at the foot of my parents' bed, watching old episodes of Top Gear (although I guess it was just regular Top Gear back then) with my dad. Listening to Jeremy Clarkson enthusiastically shouting "POWERRRRR," convincing himself he could fix just about any mechanical issue with a hammer, and simultaneously delivering poetic monologues about the beauty and artistry of the automotive world was a formative experience for me.

I also distinctly remember my uncle (shoutout to Carlyle) handing me his Canon SLR camera at a family reunion when I was very young, urging me to "go take some pictures." At the time, I thought my future was set on becoming a mechanical engineer—but unknowingly, my love for capturing my passions through the lens was just beginning.

Today, the primary focus of my work is capturing the beauty, power, and artistry that many see simply as a mode of transport. Behind every incredible vehicle is a community of dedicated people spending countless hours creating something that fellow automotive enthusiasts, like myself, find absolutely jaw-dropping.
